2008 Show Information

Didn’t exhibit at the Fine Furniture and Woodworking Festival last year? You missed an exciting event! Visitors entered the Arena through a large tent that was abuzz with woodworker’s turning, carving, cutting, and shaping products of all kinds. The woodworkers who demonstrated under the tent created an atmosphere of excitement and anticipation for the exhibitors inside the arena. With almost 2400 visitors, exhibitors and demonstrators reported the best year ever for sales and leads generated.

What's new for 2008?

The Vermont Chamber of Commerce named the Fifth Annual Vermont Fine Furniture and Woodworking Festival a “2008 Top Ten Fall Event.” We know this recognition will help bring even more exhibitors and attendees to the 2008 Festival. We also received a grant from Tourism & Marketing to promote our event in the Boston, MA and Hartford, CT areas through advertising and direct mail.


What features will remain?

We will again partner with Marsh Billings Rockefeller National Historical Park for their annual Forest Festival Weekend. The Park will host woodworking and sawmill demonstrations, forest walks, educational activities, and events for the whole family. And, we will again provide shuttle service between venues.

This is an opportunity for you to showcase and sell your fine wood products to an audience from all across New England. Our marketing team did an exemplary job in promoting the 2007 event and will apply what was learned to make 2008 even better.

Who attended the Festival?

Where did attendees come from for the 2007 Festival? Just over 50% came from Vermont and the rest were from PA, CA, AZ, CO, CT, DE, FL, GA, HI, IL, IN, KS, LA, MA, MD, ME, MI, MO, NC, NH, NJ, NY, OH, RI, TX, VA, WA, Australia, and Canada… That's 28 states and 2 foreign countries!
